_ ate on HVAC„Pro jests Catherine advised that the 2 air handler units at Coombs School completed; however Catherine submitted Change Order#1 in the amount of$1,300 because the thermostats that cane with the 2 air handler units were the standard,basic type and she is asking to upgrade to the programmable,controllable-type thermostats. Cost for each upgraded thermostat is$ o. Irving Goldberg stated his objection to the price. He said we already paid for installation of original thermostat and he believes the cost quoted for the upgrade is too high. Motion: Joe Brait motioned to accept Change Order#I in the amount of$1,300; Steve Cook seconded this motion. Vote: 2 Yes; and I N . Steve Cook,yes. Irving Goldberg,no. Joe Brait,yes. Catherine said after the last PCC meeting,the laid opened for the 23 heat pump replacements to be done at Police Department. 2 bids were received. The Board of Selectmen proceeded with award to Healthy Air Solutions;contract was signed; unit has been ordered. Motion: Joe Brait motioned to accept the$69,000 hid from Healthy Air Solutions for 23 heat pumps at the Police Station. Irving Goldberg seconded this motion. Vote: 3 Yes. Steve Cook,yes. Irving Goldberg,yes. Joe Brait,yes. UT date on Chamber of Commerce Buildin Catherine said Cape sight Compact responded that they assigned somebody else to the project. The individual hired by Cape Light came to look at the building a little over a week ago. we have not yet received his proposal. Update on'Pop warner Concession Buidr Catherine said she e-mailed the Association President to let him know of discussion at last PCC meeting; he is going to try and get draft plans around the beginning of December. Update on Archives Pro'lect • Contract awarded to BLL. • Price proposal received-was$20,000. Meeting tomorrow afternoon with BLW to finalize the contract and they will loop at site while here. Catherine said she spoke with Cape fight and they will loop at design when we have it and perhaps some grant available. • A meeting with Historical group,PCC and the architect will be scheduled afar they look at the project. Catherine said the Historical Commission is very excited about the project. She said they are interested in starting to scan documents but they understand the first priority is getting the building to proper condition. New Business Catherine provided a drafted FY-I #F -18 PCC capital budget. A copy is attached to the printed set of these minutes. Catherine said this is the annual CIP request and the deadline for submitting this budget to Joyce is Thursday.
