MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR MEETING - MARCH 5, 1997 PAGE 11 <br /> You bike It Cleaning' for two events at the high school. <br /> Next meeting is scheduled for March 11, 1997. <br /> Mr. Paxton suggested that Leisure services keep the "As You bike It <br /> Cleaning" invoices for future usage. <br /> Dr. DeMoura suggested zones in the high school be clearly narked by <br /> day. <br /> Mrs. Cook said a new Facility Usage Foris being devised by the Leisure <br /> Services Advisory Council and will include set-up requests. <br /> 10.2.3 school Building Committee - Mrs. Mills was absent from the last <br /> meeting but Dr. IeMoura said topics focused on stone turning the <br /> interior of high school over on March 15, 1997 and the outside on April <br /> 155 1997. There are many legal discussions currently on-going. The , <br /> television sets are up and running; the cable needs work; and the <br /> representative from Computers Without Fear has made up a punchlist of <br /> items that need attention for the computers. <br /> 10.2.4 Legislation - Mrs. Cook said there is a meeting set for March 1 , <br /> 1997 in Marlboro. <br /> . <br /> 10.2.5 safe Transportation.Task Force - Mr-. Paxton said there has been <br /> no meeting recently but questioned a report of a high school bus that <br /> broke down on Pimlico-fond Road and Route 130. Dr. DeMoura will <br /> investigate. It was noted that the turnover in drivers at Laidlaw is very <br /> high. a <br /> 10.2.6 Personnel - Dr. I eMoura reported on a Job Fair that he attended <br /> at the Hynes Auditorium, He said there was a poor shoring of <br /> the number of candidates this year. <br /> 10.2.7 Booster's Club :- Mrs. Lynch said the Basketball Appreciation Day <br /> (BAD) was held; theValentine's Dance was a success. The Booster's <br /> Club provided cheerleaders with sweatshirts. Future plans include <br /> having a press box and concession stand for spring. Also, Mrs. Lynch <br /> noted that the Booster's Club also supports the music programs. <br />
