Macdonald will attend the Falmouth High School Awards Night scheduled for dune 4th. 7.8 section 504 - An Educator's Primer - Dr. DeMoura outlined this document that discusses what teachers and administrators need to know for implementing accommodations for eligible individuals with disabilities. He said there has been a great emphasis for 504 plans for students classified as "disabled." Discussion followed on DNR Do Not Resuscitate) orders. 7.9 DOE - Student Data standards ! Dr. DeMoura discussed a document generated by the Department of Education who is developing a comprehensive information management system to support the requirements of the Education Reform Act, and, in particular, the student assessment system. Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Paxton, to send a letter to Congressmen and Legislators objecting to the usage of this document. VOTE: Unanimous 7.10 Statewide student Testing, Aril 8, 1398 - Discussion followed on this document. 7.11 Action Plan - Final Report: Coordinated Program Review - Dr. I eI Moura reported on the program audit given by the- Department he- e rtment of Education for Title I. Special Education and the food lunch program. The results of the report shows a few areas in. need of full compliance. The Committee felt the school system should have received excellent in many areas.
