B& D OF SELECTMEN <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 25 , 1988 - Regular ul.ar es s ion <br /> I UTE <br /> Two <br /> Board of Health ( Coat . <br /> The final suggestion was a $15 .00 flat fee. Mr. Hanson, Mr. Gottlieb <br /> and Mrs . Thomas were in favor. Mr. Carter was opposed . Mr. Lawrence <br /> was not present . <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Gr-4 <br /> oal Posts - Discussion regarding the removal of the goalposts from <br /> Heritage e Memorial Park. A letter from Phil Wilson of the Cape Cod Bears <br /> stating his feelings on the issue was handed to the Board. All agreed <br /> that Mr. Wilson ' s letter required .a response and Mr. Carter stated that <br /> Mr. Wilson should be pint ,,,psi the agenda__t discuss the Cape Cock Bears .as soon <br /> s possible . Mr. Hanson stt that�Mr. Virg I <br /> il�o acted under' his <br /> direction in removing the goalposts and should not be held responsible. <br /> Adelphia Cable Company Bid - Discussion regarding the fact that the <br /> Adelphia Cable Co. bice was 35 minutes late and whether or not to accept <br /> the bid. Howard Horton recommended that since no harm had been <br /> created by this late filing, the bid should be accepted. <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to concur with Mr. Hortn ' s recommendation to <br /> accept Adelphia ' s application . Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion if- <br /> t could be expanded to look at the town ' s other bid policies to come <br /> p with some consistency. Mrs , Thomas was in favor. Mr. Carter did <br /> not participate in the. vote , <br /> Mashpee Arts Council, Inc . -- Mr. Gottlieb moved to approve the revues-t-= <br /> of Carol Jacobson,, hariman , Mashpee Arts Lottery Council that $1 , 730 .50 <br /> be donated from the MALL Devolving Account to the newly formed non- <br /> profit organization, MAC Mashpee Arts Council`s Inc. Mr. Hanson <br /> seconded the motion. Mrs , Phomas was in favor. Mr. Carter stepped <br /> down from this vote. <br /> Old Colony Drive - Discussion regarding article by petition - Mr. Murphy <br /> stated that the article was premature since all procedures in. the town <br /> by-laws relative to acceptance of private ways by petition cannot be <br /> met . It was agreed that Mr. Reardon prepare a checklist on how <br /> to apply items to the existing by-laws so that Mr. Murphy would have <br /> -some guidelines to dive to petitioners , <br /> Christ the King Church - Mr. Hanson moved not to waive $2R., 555 . 00 in <br /> permit fees for Christ the King Church. Mr. Gottlieb seconded the <br /> motion . The vote was unanimous . <br /> f <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS f <br /> r <br /> Mr. Carter brought up the issue of dredging equipment when will this <br /> e cleaned up Mr. Carter will work with Mr. Reardon to work out some <br /> reent with the company. <br /> 4 <br />
