BOARD-"OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, AUGUST 9 . 1988 <br /> AGE SIX <br /> OTHER NEW BUSINESS <br /> Mr. Carter questioned the fact that Conservation Commission was <br /> advertising for new members when there were a number of applicants <br /> in the spring. Mrs ., Jacobson responded that the candidates had <br /> been invited to attend-e -t'hb meetings , but only one applicant had <br /> responded. <br /> t <br /> Mrs . Jacobson volunteered to be the liaison between the Board of <br /> Selectmen and the Council on Aging. <br /> 4 # <br /> . Mrs . Jacobson questioned the fact that there are hydro-carbons in <br /> the water at the Police end Fire Complex. _� Mr. Murphy stated that <br /> per Board of Health and the" Fire'. Chief# appropria'te testing will <br /> be accomplished. 4 <br /> 5 . Mr. Gottlieb stated that Charrette Meetings are being held on <br /> Thursday and next Tuesday evening �- these will be open to the public, <br /> r <br /> Being no further business , the meeting adjourned at 9 :25 p,m. <br /> Respectfully tfully submitted, <br /> Debra J .
