The Commit-tee asked what degree of endorsementthe Board of Selectmen would apply to the Parks Recreation art nt activities. Mr. Hcanson issue-ed that each is handled1 n that Policies could not be set to the degree of involverient that i. -takes for Selectmen to be involved. r. Carter stated that with .the appointment of l lasions for each Department that issues or problems could be handled between the l i si . n and the Director and if not , the entire Board S e l ti n would bte involved. Ms . Siolander added that the attendance of the liasion has been helpful -t the Committee, 4. The Committee requested clarification relative t Funds ,, projectionsversus reallity, etc . The Board advised Ms . Siolander that this was a subject for the Finance Committee liasion, Mr. Lawrence added that- since Mr. Murphy is the Chief Financial Officer of the Town that he should also be contacted on these types of issues . . Mr . Lawrence responded the question of public -feedback being channeledonto the PRAC for citizen consideration of a Parks & Recreation issue stating that committee members should feel free to contact anythe Selectmen with any Issues they wish i u . 6. The Committee asked how they could become more involv'ed in other committees that overlap with Parks & Recreation Committee. Mr . Hanson stated that the Committee should meet and prepare a l i sty of a 1 1 corrim i heel that over I ap w i th PRAC and schedule meeting with he liasion to initiate better communication and to perhaps appoin n " Inner l i s i n" .
