5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 11, 2002 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Library Building Committee: (continued) <br /> It was noted that the Board of Selectmen previously voted to appropriate a <br /> sum of$2,000,000 for the municipal building project. The committee has <br /> $130,000 available in design fees to assist with the planning and design <br /> phase of the project. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to rescind the Selectmen's <br /> past action to appropriate$2,000,000 for the Library building <br /> expansion project. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Leveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to approve a sum not to exceed <br /> $3,000,000 for the Library building expansion project; total design <br /> and build funds authorized. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The Library Building Committee will be requested to time the building <br /> project in accordance with obtainable and potential grant funding. In <br /> addition, the committee was requested to present a five-year projection of <br /> staffing and building needs to the Board of Selectmen for review. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Carbo's Alter Premises: <br /> Selectman Taylor and Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above <br /> referenced hearing. <br /> Selectman Cahalane opened the Public Hearing on the liquor license <br /> application of Fidde Corp., d/b/a Carbo's Grille & Bar, 681 Falmouth <br /> Road, Mashpee to alter the premises to include: change of location of bar <br /> in restaurant; change will not increase total seating for establishment. <br /> Joyce Mason, Town Administrator read aloud the Public Hearing notice as <br /> published. Edmund M. Richardi, Jr. President was present to discuss the <br /> license application with the Selectmen. <br />
