mINUTES October 10, 1996 4 BOARD of BEALTH Mr. Gus Frederick and Nk. Al Elloyan were in attendance for this scheduled appointment. Mr. McQuaid stated, "There are a number of issues we need to discuss regarding the Quonset Hut."" "'The first matter is what to do cosmetically with the structure so it is not such an eye sore."' Secondly, once it's acceptable to leisure services we should hand it over to them." Mr. Doherty stated, `"In order for the children to operate the scrap shop we will have to research liability." "As far as the building itself is concerned it will require roof ventilation and lighting.71) `'61 would recommend remodeling it a little bit before we paint Mr. McQuaid stated, `one of bidders suggested bang it up and placing sibs around it." '"Someone has to put a package together as to what needs to be done and a schedule by which time it will become acceptable for Leisure Services to take over." Mr. Frederick Mated, "fie had an idea as to what types of things needed to b done to the buil i g." Mr. Doherty stated, "'I'm not to keen on keeping the swap shop open during the winter months because of the energy costs." 1r. Frederick stated, "I think for the first year or so it will be a two or three season project." Discussion took place regarding whether or not an air quality test should be performed. . "I would reconunend we request the applicants to tie into the treatment plant." Mr. Ball motioned to grant preliminary approval of five lot commercial complex with the stipulation town water services each lot and all five lots shall be tied into the Fields Point treatment plant, W. Doherty seconded, all agreed.
