Mr. Farrell <br /> and Mr. Duffy too were quite irate at the fact 'that they <br /> . couldn 't seem to get any satisfactry, answer as to where their <br /> client could deposit the sewerage that had accumilated in her <br /> system and it- was causing- it . to hack up into her basement. <br /> They had called the Board of Health and been informed, I am <br /> advised, that there- was nothing that could he done. Essentially, <br /> what she said was that the Board f Health is injoined <br /> from makinga-rrangements , it placed the powers ,, it was <br /> turned in negative,- it was cast in negative terms , but <br /> it cast a positive obligation. on the Board of Health to <br /> either receive the septage of the residents of mashpee in <br /> the septate lagoons there, or make other arrangements . That <br /> temporary restraining order was made returnable by the <br /> Judge on December 2,' -which I believe is on a Tuesday. " <br /> BOARD: "Thursday, December 2 . " <br /> TOWN COUNSEL: "Returnable at 10 : 00 o'-clock. There will be a hearing at <br /> 10 :00 o' clock to determine whether or not that temporary <br /> restraining order should-become' a pr l.iminary injunction. <br /> Well as soon as the court took the steps to do this , I than <br /> decided I better find out what our position was as the Town <br /> matter. 1 contacted Nonnie again, I met with Donnie., as I <br /> said, down at the. court house and she had informed me, that <br /> she thought that they could pint .the lagoons into a partial <br /> operating condition so that they could receive at--.least <br /> load. That is just what she said,. a load. -Meaning to take <br /> care of this woman' s problem by Monday. she thought this <br /> was a possibility.
