Garland said he would bring the file that <br /> he has in tomorrow. <br /> Chm. Garland made reference to Mr. Bickford' s letter regarding contaminated <br /> shellfish from New Bedford. <br /> Chm. Garland made reference to Mr. John Bush' s letter relative to a,.transfer <br /> of liquor license from a common victualer to an inkeepers license. <br /> Chm. Garland referred to the memo from the Housing Authority and asked <br /> if they were going to remove the article from the town meeting. Mr. <br /> Murphy said that they were not going to have it removed that they would <br /> probably indefinately postpone it. <br /> Mr. Murphy, Executive Secretary, brought up the matter . of the salary <br /> figures in the Executive Secretary' s contract. He stated that action <br /> by the Board had been deferred on this matter and he needed the figure <br /> in order to complete the budget. Discussion continued as to the figures <br /> mentioned in the contract and the Grade .and Level figures. <br /> Motion by Chm. Garland .that the agreement between the Town of Mashpee <br /> and Joseph F. Murphy, Jr. signed on July 1, 1983, Section 5 , Sub- <br /> paragraph 2 ,. shall be amended to read: on July 1, 1984 said salary <br /> shall be - Grade 30, Step 3, annually, plus the cost of living as <br /> given to department heads. Seconded by Sel . Terry. Motion unanimously <br /> passed. <br /> Sel . Terry stated that on behalf of the Board of Selectmen and the <br /> citizens of the town of Mashpee he wanted to thanked Mr. Garland for <br /> his services and dedication. Sel.
