Lawrence said that he would like to know what the cost would' be and where they are going to come up with the money. The. Executive Secretary said that the Dater Commissioners Account did. ` not have the money. Town Counsel said that it could come out o legal and engineering. The Executive Secretary commented that if the Board by majority vote feels to support the concept of hiring ars appraiser for this purpose , he suggested that they have the dater Quality Review Committee to determine the names of two or three appraisers and secure ars estimate of what the cost is involved, e l ; Lawrence said that he could go along with that as long as there is no cost involved. He commented that he image a motion and Jean seconded i t . At this point in the meeting, Sel . Lawrence voted "no" on his motion, e l f Hanson asked i f t h ey sant to contact the Water Quality Review Committee or the committee which has been formed to oversee everything in town . The Executive Secretary commented that as dater Commissioners, they can Puruse the subject directly to secure the estimates of appraisers. Town Counsel said that the Water Quality Review Coffin i t tee does not have the power to contract and bind the town . He told the Board that he asked the engineer, Firs Webber , who handles the Dept . of Public Utilities who handles their water system what it would cost to get an expert? He indicated that they were expensive because it is a h i ghl Y spec i al i zed area. Dr . Fe t to asked if there was a sub-committee formed to look into appraisers* Sel , Thomas said that the vote which was taken was to ask the Board to rove on this appraisal issue .
