Articles from Torn Fuda.la., Town Planner for review, <br /> Three articles were submitted, 1) $18 ,433 to complete the consultant <br /> study of water duality problems in the Mashpee River, Santuit River <br /> and Popponesse- -Bay for which phase one funding was authorized at <br /> Special Town Meeting on .August 2 ,, 1986 ; 2 $15,000 to fund a. traffic <br /> corridor consultant study of Routes 28 and 151 to be undertaken jointly <br /> with the Town of Falmouth; 3 $23 ,408 to Fund the contract of the <br /> Assistant Town Planner for the period from July 1 , 1987 to June 30 , <br /> 1988. Mr. Murphy noted that Article #3 is already in the budget so <br /> approval is not necessary. Article #2 was . :f ry . . for decision <br /> pending verification of information. Artie #1 was approved for in- <br /> sertion on the warrant. <br /> 2. Letter of resignation, Priscilla J. am-. ..announced <br /> her intention to resign from the Council on Aging and the dousing <br /> Authority effective January 1, 1987* Ms . Hari was the St-ate Represent- <br /> ative <br /> epresent- <br /> ative for the Dousing Authority so a, replacement will be required, <br /> The resignation was accepted . <br /> 3a Cape Cod Regional Technical High,_School pro-posed budget, <br /> Mr* Murphy noted that no specific action is necessary at this time . The <br /> budget 'assessment to the Town would increase by 16% duo to an increase <br /> in students from the Town <br /> . Arts Council - apPointmentse The Secretary of the Arts <br /> Council has submitted the names of Louise K. Murphy and Paul Nadeau for <br /> appointments s SeTectwoman Thomas roved that Louise K. lvlurphy and Paul <br /> Nadeau be appointed. Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion which was unani- <br /> mously <br /> nani- <br /> mou T carried. <br /> 5. Board of Assessors . The Board of Assessors has requested <br /> transfer of $10,000.00. to pay far approximately a.tely o days a-' $35.00 <br /> per hour plus expenses for the listing of -properties having building <br /> permits in 1986. This is due to the resignation of the Assistant <br /> Assessor* which was effective this dates January 7P 1987• The Board of <br /> Assessors also informed that due to this resignation and other delays <br /> from service companies there will be a, delay in the FY87 billing. <br /> 6. Seamist Resort - Amusement Device License . The license <br /> expired December 31, 19860- It was unanimous-ly agreed to renew the <br /> license, <br /> T.
