f <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PERSONAL SERVICES <br /> WHEREAS.. the Town of Mash ed by and through its Board of Selectmen <br /> (hereinafter referred to as TIN , has agreed to retain the services of Thomas <br /> M, Pucci (hereinafter referred to as CONSULTANT),, said services being a <br /> Computer Operator/Consultant. <br /> THEREFORE in consideration of this Agreement and the conditions herein set <br /> forth, the Tern of Mashee,, acting by and through its Board of Selectmen, <br /> enters into this Agreement with Thomas M. Pucci,, as follows: <br /> 1 CONSULTANT shall provide services in accordance with a written job <br /> description entitled *Computer Operator" attached hereto and made a <br /> part hereof. . In.addition, the CONSULTANT shall present a written report to <br /> the TOWN, reviewing the current strengths and weaknesses of the <br /> computer system and developing a short and long term strategy for the <br /> operation of the computer system. <br /> 2 CONSULTANT shall receive as compensation for his services the sum of <br /> $25,00 per hour. The CONSULTANT shall submit to the TOWN N a Britten <br /> voucher for payments on a weekly basis. TONIN shall promptly process <br /> the voucher and secure payment to CONSULTANT as soon as possible <br /> offer receipt thereof. In no event shall payments to the CONSULTANT <br /> exceed $10,000 in total payments for services. <br /> 3 CONSULTANT shall at all times be an independent contractor and.he shall <br /> not be deemed to be an employee of the TOWN for any purpose <br /> hatsoever, including any employee benefit plan maintained by TOWN <br /> N <br /> for its employees, as well as any other benefits which employees of the <br /> TOWN may enjoy. <br /> 4) CONSULTANT shall exorcise independent judgment in carrying out his <br /> assignee duties and shall utilize the knowledge and shills he possesses, it <br /> being understood that TOWN hos no special knowledge or skills in this area <br /> and is relying solely urn the expertise of the CONSULTANT who is acting <br /> as an independent contractor. <br /> 5 CONSULTANT shall report his activities directly to the Executive Secretary., or <br /> in the absence of the Executive Secretary, d-irectly to the loam of <br /> Selectmen through its Chairman. <br /> .6) TOWN will provide such administrative support as may be necessary for <br /> CONSULTANT to carry out his function. <br /> 7 The duration of this Agreement shall be extended from ..July 1, 1990 through <br /> September 30,, 1990. <br />
