Merry Sue seconded <br /> the motion* <br /> Paul said this ,is for Mike Pietrowksi to do a. fly by of the site . He <br /> thought it was supposed to be I time only* <br /> The Committee agreed that one time was sufficient . They will send a, letter <br /> to Mike asking him to discontinue this service , unless the comma`-ttee makes <br /> a specific requests * <br /> Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for approval, and <br /> payment a. fee invoice for Chartwell for $19 , 216 . 21 for basic <br /> services and clerk of the works services for November* Merry Sue <br /> seconded the motion. All members were in favor 6-0 -** <br /> The committee reviewed a proposal and sketch from SMMA to incorporate the <br /> Superintendent ' s office 'Into the building . They will be using 3 classrooms. <br /> Because there is no air conditioning in that section of the building they <br /> are adding overhead air-handling units * <br /> Paul does not see the value in that. He suggests using on the wall units <br /> that can easily be removed when the space reverts back to classrooms . <br /> Peter is concerned that '.t not be modified too much and we loose classroom <br /> re-imbursement, <br /> Paul agreed, His concern is not about SMMA' s fee for the design work but <br /> he wants to keep the classrooms as close to original as possible so there <br /> is no issue with the State * <br /> Dr. DeMoura said using wall units is fine. Hopefully those units could <br /> eventually be used elsewhere* <br /> Currently they have classrooms that need air conditioning for students with <br /> specific health problems * Can those units be moved easily to a classroom to <br /> be used for that purpose? <br /> Yes * <br /> Paul and Joel will discuss the new scope,. <br /> **Paul made a. motion to forward to the Selectmen for their approval <br /> an additional fee for SMMA for architectural services not to exceed <br /> $4 , 185 . for modification of 3 classrooms to Superintendent office <br /> space t Merry Sue seconded the motion. All members were in favor 6-0 * <br /> Merry Sue asked where people coming to the Superintendents office will <br /> pare <br /> Dr. BeMoura suggested some additional signage pointing out the office <br /> location. <br /> 6 <br />
