My primary residence is 65 <br /> Shorewood Drive, (for the past 34 years) so I am familiar with the condition <br /> of the Pondview Avenue road surface. <br /> Pondview is in good condition, better than other streets in the area. Rain <br /> does not collect in puddles to create a driving hazard. There is little daily <br /> traffic with 3 of the 8 properties being seasonal residences, another a storage <br /> garage, which is not available for use by the 45 Shorewood Drive resident. <br /> It is evident that property values are down, insurance premiums have risen <br /> dramatically and properties are selling for less than their assessed values. <br /> I feel that this is not the time to put additional and an unnecessary burden on <br /> the town or the property owners,particularly when we do not know when <br /> this economic situation will end. <br /> Thank you for your attention to my concern. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> anet P.
