Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 6, 2010 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS &CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Regional Solid waste Rana ement Forum Discussion: <br /> The regional solid waste forum was attended by Joyce Mason,the Town <br /> Manager, Selectman Michael Richardson and Catherine Laurent, the <br /> Director of Public Works last month. It was well attended with <br /> representatives from the fifteen Cape communities. <br /> The recommendation of the meeting was to work jointly with the Cape <br /> Cod Cormnission and the Solid Waste Advisory Committee to explore <br /> more detailed options s t how participating commuruties can best <br /> leverage collective regional assets when reviewing future disposal and <br /> solid waste management options. Pat Daley,-Director of Technical <br /> Services at the Cape Cod Commission was in attendance to give an update <br /> on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee activities this past year. Ms. <br /> Daley is also expected to give the l lashpee Board of Selectmen ars <br /> F <br /> overview of the activities in the future. <br /> The Selectmen were requested to endorse the regionaJ approach and <br /> designate a representative to attend the meetings of the Cape Cod <br /> Con fission with this goal in rind. The Board of Selectmen in support of <br /> the endeavor indicated that Catherine Laurent would be attending the <br /> December 1,20 1 o meeting n behalf of e Town o 1lh�. <br /> Solar Photovoltaic Projects., <br /> The Tom advancing forward with final language amendments to <br /> approve a contract at the enol of the month for the long awaited-solar <br /> photovoltaic energy panels to be installed on the roofs of the Mashpee <br /> Nigh School,the Town Hall building and Senior Center. <br /> NEW SSSS: <br /> Review and Approval of Land Z anaement A ee ents--� oath <br /> Access: <br /> Due to scheduling conflicts,the above referenced agenda topic was <br /> deferred to the next scheduled Selectmen's Meeting. <br />
