Page 1 <br /> ;rBoard of Selectmen <br /> Minutes-Executive Session <br /> May l , 1996 <br /> I1TIOhl LJPDATE; <br /> Chairman Dfilizio updated the Board with respect to the Mashp e <br /> High School project. <br /> Communication was received from Attorney Patrick Costello dated <br /> May 3, 1996 relative to the memo received from Attomey pizza on <br /> behalf of the Stone Construction Company, the general contractor. <br /> The Board reviewed the memo from Attorney Lizza.dated April 30, 1996, <br /> Attorney Costello will be consulted with respect to; <br /> Item#1 (d) Stone reserves its fight as to how long Mr. Gunn will <br /> remain on the Prof ec t. <br /> and <br /> Item#3 Alternate Facilities- Contingency Plan <br /> It is unacceptable to delay the opening of the new High School facility <br /> as arcompromise or option"indicated Selectman Dinizio,, <br /> Selectman Caffyn expressed concern to the use of a school wing vs. the <br /> enter school building if construction is delayed. we should consult our <br /> attorney to discuss the legal ranufications indicated Selectman Caffyn. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to consult Town Counsel <br /> with respect to the tenure of Mr. Gunn, and convey the <br /> message that it 'i's unacceptable to delay the opening of the <br /> new High School facility as an option. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> ' ` Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call 'ote* Peter, yes George, yes Curtis, ye <br /> Nancy, yes Kenneth, yes <br />
