Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September l ,2014 <br /> OLD SMSS: <br /> Review of Octo Town Meetin 'arrant: (continued) <br /> Article#12: A clean-up article to meet the requirements of reserving funds <br /> from the supplemental CPA FY2 14 Trust Fund distribution; 10"/o <br /> for Historic and 10%for Affordable Housing purposes. For this <br /> appropriation,it is not a requirement to set aside the 10%reserves <br /> in Open Space/Recreation as the amount paid in debt for open <br /> space purposes in F14 exceed the additional funds. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Richardson to support Article#12 as presented. <br /> Motion Bonded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: 44. Motion carries. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,no Opposed, 1 <br /> Selectman Gottlieb indicated that he does not agree with the distribution of the <br /> reserves without consideration to include additional ftmding towards future open <br /> space purees. Discussion followed with respect to util* funds to pay down <br /> Land Bank bonds even though a penalty may be unposed. It was noted the <br /> decision of the Co nunity Preservation Committee to not allocate fu ding to the <br /> 10%Open Space/Recreation Reserves was based on information prodded by the <br /> Town Accountant. <br /> Aqicle.#1,3:, Mashpee Nitrogen Control Bylaw <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to support Article#13 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Gottlieb. <br /> V T : Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes opposed,none <br /> The Board meed to remove the lame: m violation of the dean Water Act <br /> from the Explanation of this Acle. Selectman Gottlieb offered to assist with any <br /> language.amendments related to the Explanation of the article. <br />
