The basis of the conference was for the commissions to gather information and get <br /> briefing on the status of Carpe towns' progress. M1r.G bell and Torn Fudala also participated on ar <br /> MMR wastewater panel. Mr. G bell stated that the Bourne plan has been scaled back and is now <br /> strictly concentrating on the area north of the Canal. <br /> Torte Fudala reported that he and Parol G bell have been invited by Brian Br int n-Smith to visit the <br /> installation of an Agu Gen, ar new type of wastewater treatment technology. Commission members <br /> are invited to attend the installation next Tuesday, May 21, at 11 AMI, followed by lunch at Captain <br /> Parker's. <br /> INTERMUNICIPAL ICIPAL ISSUES <br /> - Nothing new to report on the ]raft Pppnesset Bay Intermunicipal Agreement. <br /> -Carpe Cod Commission Carpe-wide wastewater plan. The CCC will be going out to the towns. Mr. P to mis started that the town is waiting for a ballot question <br /> to approve design funding for both water and wastewater $0 Million). If the design funding is <br /> approved at ballot on May 21't, the next step is to develop financing plans (betterments and/or <br /> property tax apportionment). <br /> ARNSTABLE ISSUES — No report. <br /> SANDWICH ICH ISSUES — No report <br /> STATUS OF WATERISEWER DISTRICT <br /> Torn Fudala stated that as the newly elected Water District Commissioner, he has received ar <br /> proposed draft of legislation but has not yet had an opportunity to review the document_ Mr. Fud l 's <br /> gnarl is to try to more the project along, as it has been hanging in the balance between the Water <br /> District Counsel and Town Counsel Patrick Costello for some time. Mr. Fudarlar wants to ensure that <br /> the document covers all the issues we have to deal with, including the concept of management <br /> districts.
