}
question called for in the legislation could be voted at the May Town election. A second thing that has
to happen is an intermunicipal agreement between the Town and District about necessary transfer of
land and facilities and ongoing responsibilities of both parties relative to dealing with the nutrient
problems in our estuaries and ponds.
OTHER ITEMS
• Budget Questions from DPW
Tom Fu kala reported on receipt of emails regarding budget questions related to Great Caves and
Breezy Acres sewage treatment, sewer line and pump station. Catherine Laurent reported that there
would be increased costs associated with the pump station as well as the additional flow, and asked
whether their annual sewer fee should be used to offset this increase or should it be budgeted by the
DPW for the full increase. Joyce Mason responded that their sewer fee would be used to offset the
increase, so the DPW budget should reflect the full increase and their serer fee will be transferred t
the DPW budget to offset that cost.
NEXT MEETING
The net meeting of the sewer Commission was scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at 7:00 Phil}
Ilashpee Town Hall.
ADJOURNMENT
As there was no further business, Joe Lyons made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Glean
Santos seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned
at 9:05 PIIS.
Respectfully surbmitted,
%;)Z .
Ina G.
