C. Regulatory Authorities shall not be required to provide audio tape recordings of <br /> workshop meetings and meetings held in executive sessions. <br /> §7-5. Administration. This Bylaw shall be administered by the office of the Town Clerk, <br /> who may designate a person(s) to be the administrator(s) of public records. The Town <br /> Clerk shall promulgate such rules and regulations as are necessary to administer this <br /> bylaw with the approval of the Board of Selectmen who shall hold a public hearing <br /> after providing seven(7) days notice of such hearing. The Town Clerk shall have the <br /> full power of enforcement to bring civil or criminal action to enforce the provisions of <br /> this bylaw. The Town Clerk must discover or have been made aware of a violation <br /> and shall not take action until: <br /> A. A letter to the violator detailing the item(s) of noncompliance shall be sent within <br /> thirty(30) days of the violation; and <br /> B. The violator shall have been given twenty-one (2 1) days to remedy the violation <br /> or provide sufficient reasons to seek a waiver of compliance, Failure to respond <br /> to the Town Clerk within the stated time period shall be sufficient ground for <br /> immediate enforcement action. <br /> §7-6. Penalties. Any violation of this bylaw may be punished by a fine of three hundred <br /> ($300.00) per offense. <br /> PART II- GENERAL LEGISLATION <br /> CHAPTER 145 <br /> §145-2. Appointment of Herring Wardens. The 1ojli�rr >>vlroricd� ori is authorized to appoint <br /> one (1) or more Herring Wardens and is authorized, from time to time, to make <br /> regulations concerning the opening and maintenance of ditches, sluiceways or canals <br /> into any pond within the Town not in private possession for the introduction and <br /> propagation in such pond or in any part thereof of herring, alewives or other <br /> swimming marine food fish and for the creation of fisheries for the same, No such <br /> regulations shall become effective until a public hearing has been held by the Board <br /> of Selectmen and public notice of the regulations adopted shall have been given. , €ee. <br /> ren - l) <br /> History: Amended 12-2-1985 STM, Article 52, approved by Attorney General <br /> on 2-11-1.986. <br /> 36 <br />
