Page 14 Board of Selectmen Minutes June 25, 1995 Recess: 7:36 p.m. Meeting Resumed: 7:45 p.m. The Meeting re-convened in the Great Room, APPOINTMENTS AND HE„A RING Hearing - Fennucci Bros. Inc, d/b/a Davy's Docker: Selectman Vaccaro opened the Hearing for the se of discussing - P� g the Alcoholic Beverages License and Entertaiment License of Fennucci Bros. Inc., d/b/a Davy's Locker to show cause as to why the licenses should not be modified, suspended,revoked or canceled. `' r : It was noted that over the previous several weeks, seven significant incidents have occurred outside the establishment involving patrons in eat numbers. The incidents have escalated to the extent�' e t that there is serious concern for the safety of club patrons as well as for the safety of Mashpee Police Officers and the Police officers from other communities who are routinely required to provide mutual aid to address incidents of fighting,disorderly conduct and damage to privateproperty. s Chief of Police,William Prz b lek updated the Board with reference to '3 the dates of the disturbance call received as a result of large fights,loud noise and assaults involving man patrons of the establishments. many Jeffrey Dolinsky,Manager of Davy's Locker was present to address this concern with the Board. In response to the recent incidents that have occurred,Mr.Dolinsk indicated y dicated that he was never contacted by the :s Police Department to rectify the problems. Mr.Dolinsky indicated that he is willing to offer increased security, reduce the number of patrons in the establishments from 170 to 115, a lower music decibels and further control thearkin facility in efforts P g ty to maintain his license agreements. Several residents expressed concern to the loud noise and parking lot disturbances. Antoinette Brooks and Erwin Rosenthal discussed their complaints with the Board. Morgan Peters and Paula Peters Mair spore in favor of the establishment and recommended the Board allow Mr. Dolinsky the opportunity PP tY to conduct business in the Town of Mashpee. It was noted that the approved occupancy level of the establishment is 225 patrons. Peter Caleb,President of the Mashpee Shores Association presented a petition to the Board to request license revocation in an expeditious manner.
