Mr. York indicated that the State <br /> could be asked to include Martha's Pond in their pond and lake sampling pro m. � <br /> Nutrient rient Management& Fertilizer Regulations for Fresh water Ponds & Estuaries <br /> Mr. Talbot reported that he and the Chair had attended the Board-of Selectmen meeting on June <br /> 28 and had been well received. The BOS voted to adept the Nitrogen Control Bylaw in concept <br /> and suggestions were made by Selectman Gottlieb to better define the bylaw. Mr. Talbot <br /> incorporated the charges and resubmitted the bylaw to all interested parties with no additional <br /> comments. To on Counsel will re-draft the bylaw on July 25 to make it ready for the warrant. <br /> The BOS recommended building support for the bylaw. Mr. Talbot spoke to a community at <br /> New Seabury where he received positive feedback. Mr. Talbot has also begun to reach out to the <br /> golf corse superintendents and noted his willingness to spew to any group interested in <br /> receiving more information about the bylaw. The Chair inquired whether he had reached out to <br /> DPW directors Capewide and Mr. Talbot responded that he had considered also reaching out to <br /> Boards of Health and Conservation Departments. fir. Talbot referenced the new State <br /> regulations which focus on phosphorus and agriculture and shared his slide presentation with <br /> Committee members. other groups to consider for farther discussion,could be garden clubs, <br /> Rotary and Board of Realtors. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Combine water-Sewer <br /> No update <br /> Town-Wide Stormwater Management Plan <br /> Mr. Talbot referenced the EPA's MS-4 MS-4Permit Program, for small municipal separate storm <br /> sever systems. Mashpee had been covered under the 2003 permit system and Mr. Talbot <br /> inquired whether Mashpee was up to date. Mr. York indicated that he believed the DPW was up <br /> to date with the permitting. Nit-. Talbot stated that he would follow up with Ms. Laurent. The <br /> Chair indicated that he could invite someone from his office to discuss the issue. W. York <br /> stated that the mapping had been completed with a draft map of over 2000 storm drains. Mr. <br /> Talbot stated that bacteria TMDLs were also established and Mr. York indicated that Mashpee <br /> had been testing and the greatest problem wildlife gelated.
