Community Counc&Update of MIVM Joint 1. nd Use <br /> Study-Mr. Fudala stated that a draft final report of the Joint Land Use Study had been completed by <br /> the Cape Cod commission and that he had a copy available in his office for anyone's review. FIs. <br /> W ygan inquired about an executive summary or action plan and requested that a copy be provided <br /> t the next meeting. <br /> Design Review Committee-1 r. Cunui ings reported that a meeting took place on <br /> November 5 with discussions regarding the sale of Christmas trees on Nathan Ellis lE h va r, water <br /> damage-at the Vetean's outreach Center and a Lyme disease facility to be located at Trinity Place. <br /> The Subdivision at Blue Castle was on the agenda.but the applicant was not in attendance. <br /> Community Preservation Committee-Ms. Waygan reported that the CPC had be an <br /> review of applications for the next round of funding. Ms. Waygan stated that the match would be <br /> 50% from the state. Applications were received from IAC Coombs School for an accessible <br /> playground, the reprinting of Mashpee's history and open space purchases in the amounts of <br /> $1609000 and $600,000. Ms. Waygan noted that it was the best attended CPC meeting ever with 5 <br /> people in attendance. A vote on the applications will be taken in December. <br /> Environmental Oversight Committee,-Chairman Petersen stated that N e Talbott had <br /> been acture in the issue of fertilizer use control and the Cape Cod ;omission's draft document. <br /> At the recent EEC meeting, concern was expressed regarding the CCUs draft, particularly in <br /> comparison to Falmouth's bylaw. The EEC will reach out to Falmouth to review their draft as it <br /> would make more sense to have a filar document as they are a neighboring community. Mr. <br /> Fudala added that Senator wolf had requested an amendment allowing towns an extra year to wort <br /> on fertilizer regulations, until December 2014. The CCC wishes to discuss further with towns and <br /> boards-concerns about the regulations in an effort to develop regional rules. The EOC will also <br /> request that the Board of selectmen address the issue of the new flood maps. There was discussion <br /> about legislation to-pos ibly postpone the maps due to affordability issues. <br /> Historic District Commission--No update <br /> Charter Review-No update <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> -VAfitewater, Inc.— September 3013 south ape pillage WW discharge report—1 =5.8 <br /> -Medical Marijuana-Mr. Fudala reported that the Board of Selectmen met to discuss with two <br /> proponents for medical marijuana facilities to be located on Echo road and Summerfield Park. The <br /> Selectmen will forward'a letter of support on behalf of both applicants. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION: Mr. rini made a motion to adjourn.
