-Status of USGS Solute'transport Modeling-Chairman Fudala.stated that the modeling was <br /> top priority for Mr. Walter and that-a presentation should be ready for the January 19 Sever <br /> Commission meeting. <br /> New Developments xisting Developments Requiring +wastewater Treatment Plants <br /> -Ma tepee village-Pursuing their own treatment plant and discharge permit although open to <br /> cooperation with adjacent properties. Facility shared with Assisted Living on adjacent land may <br /> be possibility (see below). <br /> -Sum.merwood —No news <br /> -Mash pee Woods 40B—Foreclosed and owned by CC Coop Bank--Industrial.subdivision i <br /> ISI at CCC with no p ro po sed treatment plant. <br /> -Stratford Ponds—Completed treatment plant improvements to blowers etc. <br /> -wampano g village, 40B project by Warnpanoag Tribe—40K gp (RBC) treatment plant <br /> under construction in advance of 40B approval due to federal funding conditions. Will be <br /> rewired to tie in neighboring properties to meet DEP"zero net nitrogen" rule, possibly including <br /> Totem Hall area. .SEP will only enforce"no nef after 9900 gpd exceeded. <br /> -Cotuit Meadows 40B (in Barnstable)—Construction done on Zenon NMR WWTP. Nursing <br /> borne in 1 lashpee tied in to meet DEP "zero net nitrogen" policy. Shel lback Place in Mashpee <br /> has right to connect in future. Initial total N<2 g1. <br /> Potential new40B/mixed use on Haney.property between 1.51 and old Barnstable Rd. Will <br /> need treatment plant. No recent communication from potential developer. <br /> -Concept of possible assisted living facifity at the corner of Route 151 and old Barnstable <br /> Road has been revived by to potential developers, necessitating wastewater treatment and <br /> potential coordination with adjacent properties. <br /> Mr. Kl nert suggested that the Sewer Commission review plans for improvements to the <br /> wastewater facilities, particularly given the possibility that Mashpee may tale over the private <br /> facilities. The Chair stated that Mr. Gregg and the Commissioners had visited the plants_ Mr. <br /> KIenert expressed a concern about Ma,s pee inheriting problematic facilities, such a <br /> villo bend, which may require improvements. Chairman Fudala will try to get a copy of the <br /> vampanoag village plans to sure with Commissioners. Mr. Gurnee expressed concern about <br /> the new wastewater facilities impacting the modeling and Chairman Fudala responded that Mr. <br /> Gregg was aware of the discharges. Mr. Gregg responded that the wastewater facilities were <br /> considered for the purposes of modeling. <br /> OTHER ITEMS <br /> Next Commission Meeting <br /> The meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 20 was canceled. As requested by the <br /> Commission, Chairman Fudala has scheduled 2012 meetings for the third Thursday of each <br /> month. The next meeting has been scheduled for January 19. There was discussion regarding <br /> possible conflicts to meeting on Thursdays and specifically on January 19. Chairman Fudala <br /> suggested that meetings may need to be re-scheduled. <br /> FY 2013 Sewer Commission Budget <br /> Chairman Fudala reported that the expense budget had been frozen at 113;which has been used <br /> toward the Sewer Commission's$123 membership to the Water Environment Federation.
