Minutes of Combined Meeting of
asbpee Design n Review Committee and
ias pee Pian Review Committee
Held Tuesday, February 15, 2011
Masbpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3
Design Review Members Present: Torn O'Hara, and Robert Felson.
Pian Review Members Present:
Richard Stevens, Building Inspector
Charlie Maintanis, Local Inspector
Joel Clifford, Fire Inspector
Tom Fudala, Torn Planner
Michael Benton, Police Department
Glen Harrington, Health Agent
Catherine Laurent, IDPW Director
Richard Stevens called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
723 Falmouth Road
Hatern Enterprises Nominee Trust
Modification of their Special Permit SP-00-215
Attorney Mike Ford and Taylor Cord , Project Engineer, appeared. Mike Ford said they were last
here at the January 18 DesignReview/Plan Review combined meeting with a full presentation to both
boards. He said they vent to Z A and they were asked to return to Design Review/Plan Review t
make sure everything had been looked at.
Mr.-Ford said today they discussed landscape arra parking at Design Review meeting.
They used the Fire Department template and Fire Depa ent e-mailed that 'it is tine.
They had septic system inspected and sent copies to Board of Health and it does need some
repairs and they indicated to Board of Health they would, indeed} male those repairs.
The storm water system they intend to install needs a maintenance plan and if you want to
make that a condition Mr, Ford will add to his report.
o retail other than-cigarettes, which is there now.
They were also informed that the increase in gallons with all new tanks and new piping
requires Board of Selectmen approval.
For the increase there is a whole process to go through with the Fire inspector and they
understand that.
Glen Harrington clarified that on the tank registrations the Board of Health does residential
tanks; commercial tanks are to be done by the Fire Department.
Glen said he was asked to look at the storm drainage. He pulled out the file and found there
are 5 lesion pits that go off of the catch basins at the entrance and exit off the property and
they are catch basins with gas traps so they do meet our requirements. Only thing missing is
there is no maintenance agreement to have the catch basins cleaned. Board of Health asks
that here basically be a napkin that's hung installed to pick up the petroleum and gets cleaned
out as part of the maintena.rce.
Glen advised that as part of the road cut Klass Highway also:in their agreement requires the
catch basins have to be maintained so that has to be as a condition of this plan.
