Rosemary indicated that the text is <br /> done, and Brian Iehrl has reviewed all but ten pages of the 70 pages of text. After his review is <br /> completed,she will invite the Commissioners to react and provide her with their opinions, <br /> New Business: Taney recapped email messages from Joyce Mason and Catherine Laurent regarding _ <br /> renovations ofn gni hin for the Archives wilding and timeframe for moving collection into <br /> building.Catherine Laurent was unable to attend because of conflicting meetings. The move date has <br /> been pushed back until after schools open in September.The following furniture have been ordered: <br /> conference table and 8 chairs,a reception office desk with a chair,a lateral file and book eases(quantity <br /> and size not indicated)for the westerly wall where our research library was located. For downstairs she <br /> ordered a work desk and chair,a -drawer flat file,and a -drawer Fire ding fire-proof file cabinet. She <br /> will install picture rails on the stairs walls to display materials. She,asked what we intend.to do with the <br /> p p p y <br /> al library desk and table currently in the Human Services basement. Do we plan to refinish it?. <br /> Commissioners discussed replacing the top,not refinishing.the sides because it is a 105 year old antique <br /> and if possible moving'it 'Into the basement where it would provide an excellent work surface.Brian Hyde <br /> indicated a student project could involve creating a top for the desk. If it can't be moved into the basement <br /> be ause of its dimensions,then"tha fs the end of it,which is sad." <br /> Library table was also discussed. In a phone conversation several days before,Gordon Peters indicated it <br /> had been one of 4 tables ord red for the Davis school in 1954,and later moved to the library. It would be <br /> useful providing a workspace for the microfilm reader,perhaps in the basement. <br />
