Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 16, 2018 and November 23, <br /> 2018 a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee .Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout;Chairman,Jonathan Furbush,Vice Chairman, <br /> William Blaisdell, Board Members, Ron Bonvie, Scott Goldstein, and Norman J. Gould. <br /> Mr. Michael Borselli, with Falmouth Engineering represented the applicant for a <br /> dock that abuts the Mashpee River. The property is just over 22,000 sq. ft. of land, with a <br /> single-family dwelling centered on the property. The property slops toward the coastal <br /> bank and salt marsh of the Mashpee River. He reviewed the site plan that depicted the <br /> elevated walkway, which provides for public access underneath. The Conservation <br /> Commission approved the project and issued an order of conditions. The overall length of <br /> the walkway to the end of the float is 80 ft. and required a filing with ZBA because it's in <br /> excess of 70 ft. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell read the Conservation Department comments into the record. Mr. <br /> Furbush read the Inspection Department comments into the record. Mr. Goldstein read the <br /> Board of Health comment into the record. <br /> There were no abutters present. <br /> 1 <br />
