Quilty Doc.: #1322379 <br /> 187 Wading Place Road Ctf: #213047 <br /> (Map 112 Parcel 89) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on November 9, 2018 by Owners, Dennis and Margaret Quilty <br /> requesting a Written Finding under §174-17 to allow for an alteration and addition on an <br /> existing deck on property located in an R-3 Zoning District and the Popponesset Overlay <br /> District, at 187 Wading Place Road, (Map 112 Parcel 89), Mashpee,MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A.Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 16, 2018 and November 23, <br /> 2018 a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-Iaws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present; Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William A. <br /> Blaisdell,Ronald Bonvie, Scott Goldstein,Norman J. Gould and Associate Members,Brad <br /> Pittsley and Sharon Sangeleer were present. Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza <br /> was also present. <br /> The Board continued the hearing because the plan depicted a side yard setback of <br /> 11 ft. and the requirement is 15 ft. The Board wanted the applicant to revise his plan to <br /> comply with the requirement. <br /> On January 9, 2019, public hearings were held on the Petition, and the following <br /> members of the Board were present and acting throughout; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, <br /> Vice Chairman, William Blaisdell, Board Member, Norman J. Gould, and Associate <br /> Members, Brad Pittsley and Sharon Sangeleer. <br /> Mr. Quilty returned with a revised site plan that now depicts the 15 ft. from the side <br /> yard setback, instead of the original 11 ft. setback. He also revised the floor plan of the <br /> proposed renovation. <br /> Mr. Furbush wanted confirmation that there were no other changes to the house. <br /> 1 <br />
