The Agent stated that most, if not all of the impacts the <br /> regulation covered for compliance with the wetland bylaw resource areas and values <br /> thereof-are already addressed in other regulations under Chapter 172 and/or enforced <br /> by other town regulatory departments. The Agent stated that the regulation is not <br /> necessary and is in his opinion, overly burdensome on applicants and the Conservation <br /> Dept in terms of enforcement. <br /> UPDATE/SIGNATURES: Enforcement Order for One Chestnut Street - unperrnitted tree <br /> cutting- on a coastal bank and tree removal within the -50-foot buffer zone to top of <br /> coastal bank. <br /> The Agent noted he issued an enforcement order (EO) where five large mature trees <br /> were removed within 50 feet of the top of a coastal bank. We noted the stacked wood on <br /> photos he provided and stated this is a serious violation. The owner has 30 days from <br /> the issuance date of the EO to have a professional designer outline an acceptable plan. <br /> The owner has been notified of the wetlands regulations and is now following up. He <br /> wanted to update the commissioners on this wetland violation <br /> DISCUSSION: Draft of Request for Proposals for the Upper Quashnet River/Bogs <br /> restoration. <br /> The Agent referred to the draft request for proposals for the Upper Quashnet <br /> Diver/Bogs. He suggested the commissioners review it and let him know if they have <br /> any feedback and we can open it up for discussion at the next meeting. <br /> A meriCorps <br /> The Agent referred to photos he provided on the Santuit Pond Reserve and the work the <br /> Ameriorps volunteers did on the trail. They created signs and beautiful trail steps <br /> leading to the fish ladder.
