Prevention/treatment/education programs as further described in the Community Host <br /> Agreement. <br /> Medical Marijuana Impact Fee: The existing impact fee for the Medical RMI) shall <br /> remain in place as stated in the existing Community Host Agreement for the Medical <br /> RNID. That being a base fee as paid in 2018 of $100,000 with an annual escalator <br /> amount of three percent (3%). Thus the payment in 2019 will be $103,000. In addition, <br /> as per the terms of the existing Community Host Agreement, Triple M remains <br /> committed to create and fund a charitable foundation, the purpose of which will be <br /> to support (a) research pertaining to the medical efficacy of medical marijuana, and , <br /> (b) local community initiatives for the towns in which Triple M operates <br /> Medical RMD's. , <br /> Traffic Signal: If the town so requires, Triple M shall install, at its sole expense, a <br /> traffic signal at the intersection of Echo Road and Route 130. Triple M shall either <br /> contract directly with a contractor to install such traffic signal, in accordance with <br /> plans and specifications approved by the Mashpee Director of Public Works and <br /> Police Chief, or shall reimburse Mashpee for all costs it incurs in connection with <br /> any contractor(s) it engages to install such traffic signal. In either event, Triple M <br /> shall bear all costs and expenses in connection with the installation of the signal. <br /> DRAFT HOST AGREEMENT: <br /> Triple M is in agreement with terms specified in the draft Community Host Agreement. <br /> Because there are required payments due the Town under the existing Community <br /> Host Agreement for the Medical RMD, items 2a and 2b should be modified to read <br /> ...an amount equal to 3% of gross revenue (excluding taxes) from Adult-Use marijuana <br /> and marijuana product sales." <br /> As requested, an edited draft Community Host Agreement is provided. This reflects <br /> the modification to 2a and 2b cited above as well as completing the information <br /> required in the pre-amble and in sections 5, 24 and 26. <br /> The site plan is also provided. <br />
