The next CPC meeting will be <br /> T'hur'sday at 7 p.m. <br /> Report on Status of Greenway Project-Regarding the increased cost for the <br /> engineering and construction of the bridge, Mr. Rowley suggested the possibility of shortening <br /> the span to reduce the cost. The Chair referenced Mashpee Commons' presentation to the Board <br /> of Selectmen and their discussion regarding walkability to schools, which could be enhanced by <br /> the bridge. Mr. I ooharian attended the visioning meeting ith Mashpee Commons on the 24th, <br /> attended also by approximately 100 people. Mr. Kooharian highlighted popular topics such as <br /> affordable housing, greenspace and walling trails and increased parking. At the meeting, 1&. <br /> Ido oharian- discussed the Greenways concept and distributed brochures and emphasized that it <br /> could become an anchor attraction at Mashpee Commons. Regarding the Board of Selectmen <br /> meeting, Deer Crossing expressed interest in having a buffer and electrnan Gottlieb referenced <br /> the need for offsets and the possibility that the bylaw may not allow for Mashpee Commons' <br /> plans. Traffic was acknowledged as an issue. The Chair also noted that Selectman Cahalane <br /> requested specific examples of form based code to which Mr. Fudala responded that the <br /> approved 40B project was a-form based code,, or design guidelines.
