Refuge history documentation will complement the Town's recent history documentation <br /> "Mashpee in Words and Pictures"by Rosemary Burns Love. Additional funding is being sought <br /> from the Town of Falmouth Community Preservation Committee in collaboration for this <br /> project. If the project is supported by the Town of Falmouth, the cost would be reduced by one <br /> half. <br /> The vote of the Community Preservation Committee was 4-0 in support of this article. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommend approval of Article 9 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> The Finance Committee recommend approval of Article 9 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $10,130 from the <br /> Community Preservation Historic Reserve pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 44B, §5 <br /> for the purpose of funding the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge History Booklet including <br /> necessary costs and expenses related thereto, as recommended by the Community Preservation <br /> Committee. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:23 PM. <br /> Article 10 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of$20,000 from the Cemetery <br /> Reserved Receipt Account to the FY 2017 Cemetery Operating Expense Account, or take any <br /> other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Cemetery Commission <br /> Explanation: This article will transfer funds collected from the sale of cemetery plots in Great <br /> Neck Woods Cemetery to the expense budget for use for chip sealing the roads within said <br /> cemetery. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommend approval of Article 10 by a vote of 5-0 <br /> The Finance Committee recommend approval of Article 10 by a vote of 6-0 <br /> Motion made by Selectman John Cahalane. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $20,000 from the <br /> Cemetery Reserved Receipt Account to the FY 2017 Cemetery Operating Expense Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:24 PM. <br /> 7 <br />
