The <br /> loans are available to homeowners mt5V6interest, to cover any ongoing costs o[ the program. <br /> ' Loans must be secured by a betterment assessed by the Town on the property being improved by <br /> the loan. In 2006, Barnstable County created their own community loan program. The repayment <br /> of the loans tVthe Town with the 596 interest is being repaid through previously issued property <br /> betterments. |norder for the Town tobeable tOre-loan funds tnfuture additional septic projects, <br /> the Town must annually reauthurize/re-approve participation in the Community Septic <br /> Management Program. Failure to reauthorize participation in the Program will restrict the Town <br /> from re-loaning funds to homeowners with failed septic systems.
