Page 2 <br /> Town Hall Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> January 9, 1997 <br /> REPORT OF THE ARCHITECT: <br /> Mr. Hauck addressed concerns with regards to the basement stairs leading <br /> to storage, and matters relative to general corrective work orders, and <br /> architectural review,response, and certification. <br /> In response, Mr. Paoletta indicated that he is aware to all outstanding issues <br /> with the exception of the basement stairway. All matters will be addressed, <br /> reviewed,and certified by the Architect prior to regulatory inspection noted <br /> Ms. Delongchamp, Architect for Strekalovsky and Hoit,Inc. <br /> Discussion followed with regards to the general inspection procedure. <br /> The Project Architect will prepare a list of punch list items this week, and <br /> present necessary construction control affidavits, and the certification of <br /> substantial completion for the interior work to the Building Inspector. <br /> It was noted that due to weather constraints, most of the exterior site work <br /> will be completed in the spring. Mr.Hauck directed the Architect to install <br /> guard rails around the five exterior planters, and provide signage for <br /> handicap access parking. He recommended the front entrance be operable <br /> to the public for general business activities. <br /> It was noted that temporary rear egress will be completed during the <br /> occupancy transition period. (area located next to the portable office unit) <br /> Mr. Hauck indicated that he will conduct his final inspection next week. <br /> Mr. Whritenour directed the Building Inspector to contact his office if <br /> there are any projected occupancy delays. <br /> Town Hall Occupancy Schedule: <br /> (revised) <br /> Friday, January 24, 1997: Computer Move Process <br /> Monday, January 27, 1997 and Tuesday, January 28, 1997: <br /> Furniture Move and Relocation Process <br /> The Architect was directed by the Committee to prepare a budget for <br /> office furnishings and equipment. In addition, Mr. Hoit was requested <br /> to present a revised schedule of values consisting of additional revisions <br /> to include change order work that will be addressed by the handicap <br /> grant application. <br /> The Committee received job progress reports dated December 9, 1996 <br /> through December 23, 1996. (enclosed) <br />
