TREASURER'S REPORT AND BUDGET UPDATE: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature which are for the month of March 2019 and total as follows: $82,103.57 for 4001, $ 46,670.00 for MRVP, $43,603.50 for Asher's Path Apartments, $5,374.08 for HAP, and $9,978.01 for Great Cove Community. She reported that the fee accountant was not in this month, yet but she expects him next week. She will forward a budget-to-actual report to members as soon as she has it, but we should be in pretty good shape. We have rents paid in full at all developments, except one resident at Great Cove Community, which Carol is working on. We are 100% occupied at all properties but expect possibly one vacancy at Asher's Path. A motion was made by Jill Allen and seconded by Kevin Shackett to accept the Treasurer's Report as presented. The motion carried unanimously. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES: Mrs. Botsford stated that things have been very busy in all offices—Mashpee, Brewster, Carver and Mattapoisett. CHAMP (the Common Housing Application for Massachusetts Public-Housing) is now"live", which means anyone can now go on the web and file an application for public housing anywhere in Massachusetts. The web site can be easily found with a Google search of"CHAMP, MA). There are still a lot of glitches, and staff at all authorities is continually being updated and trained. This has been taking up a lot of time in the past few months. Things are going well, but it has been very busy for everyone. Mrs. Botsford hired a new staff member in Mattapoisett, as the maintenance man retired there. Mrs. Botsford has been spending a lot of time in Mattapoisett to get him acclimated and things caught up there, but still tries to spend at least one day in each housing authority each week. Ms. Mitchell usually goes one day to Mattapoisett and one day to Brewster, as well. Mrs. Botsford stated that she had been in touch with another person, referred by Mr. Shackett, with regards to office rental space in Mashpee. The space is very small and only one or two small individual offices. It won't meet our need but the owner of the property will keep us in mind if something appropriate comes up. Mrs. Botsford also reported that she did send a letter to Laura Taylor at DHCD regarding our need for more office space. We are very excited to be able to help two first-time homebuyers under the Housing Assistance Program down-payment program. This is the first we've used these funds for this and we have recipients who are going to be able to buy their first homes with our assistance. It is very exciting that we are able to help them. Closings are expected in May. OLD BUSINESS: A).
