Instructions,to Lot Holders and Lot Molders' Rights and <br /> Section XI G. Decoration of Flats. See, attached amendments as well as comparison to other <br /> toms. <br /> Raclg,ro_und <br /> Section "VII P. Instructions to Leat Hoilders and Lot Holders' Rights The proposed amendment <br /> clarifies the number of interments allowed in a single grave. <br /> Section XI G. Decoration of Plots The proposed amendment loosens the restrictions on <br /> planting of flowers/shrubs on a plot but imposes additional restrictions on other items that are <br /> a hazard or interfere with maintenance of the cemetery. <br /> Recommendation <br /> The Cemetery Commission voted at their meeting of May 22, 2019 to recommend approval of <br /> these amendments. <br /> Pros and Cons <br /> The first amendment alloys for interment of cremains within the same grave. It also gives the <br /> option for a family to select a designated casket grave to be used for two cremations (same size <br /> as a crem,at on plot but front/back instead of side/side). Currently, neither are allowed because <br /> of the restriction; of one remains %n a grave. <br /> The second amendment attempts to address issues that have arose with enforcement of the <br /> existing regulations. A number of plot holders have planted shrubs in violation of the <br />
