F <br /> Minutes of the Meeting <br /> MASHPEE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> June 27, 2019 <br /> Date: June 27, 2019 <br /> Time: 5:00 PM <br /> Location: Asher's Path Apartments, Community Room, 1 Carleton Dr., Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Members Present: Francis Laporte, Lisa Meizinger, Kevin Shackett and Richard Halpern. <br /> Members Absent: Jill Allen <br /> Others Present: Leila Botsford, Executive Director <br /> List of documents and other exhibits used at the meeting and retained at the Authority's <br /> office: <br /> • Minutes of the meeting held May 2, 2019 <br /> • Warrants for May 2019 <br /> • Budget to Actual 5/31/19 <br /> • Candle/Indoor Open Flame Policy Draft <br /> • Letter from DHCD June 7, 2019 regarding rental space <br /> DECISIONS MADE/ACTIONS TAKEN ARE IN BOLD <br /> - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -The Chair called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM. A quorum was declared with the following <br /> members present: Fran Laporte, Kevin Shackett, Lisa Meizinger and Richard Halpern. Also in <br /> attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director. Jill Allen was absent. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: Minutes for the meeting held on May 2, 2019 were sent to <br /> members before the meeting. A motion was made by Richard Halpern and seconded by Lisa <br /> Meizinger to accept the minutes as presented. The motion carried. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT AND BUDGET UPDATE: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants <br /> for signature which are for the month of May 2019 and total as follows: $47,540.30 for 4001, <br /> $46,448.00 for MRVP, $27,027.33 for Asher's Path Apartments, $25,491.78 for HAP, and <br /> $29,661.09 for Great Cove Community. She provided the budget to actual, prepared by the fee <br /> accountant and reviewed variances. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that all rents are paid in full. We are 100% occupied at Asher's Path and <br /> Great Cove Community. We have 2 vacancies at Homeyer Village and 2 at Breezy Acres, all of <br /> which Carol is working on filling. With the new CHAMP system, things are taking much longer <br /> to do. A motion was made by Kevin Shackett and seconded by Richard Halpern to accept <br /> the Treasurer's Report as presented.
