Submit Questions Regarding the Nitrogen Management Plan-Any questions should <br /> be sent to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> BOARD MEMBER COMMITTEE UPDATES <br /> Cape Cod Commission-No meeting <br /> Community Preservation Committee-The Chair confirmed that the CPC would be <br /> meeting tomorrow and provided copies of the four applications received, including an affordable <br /> housing project, affordable group housing in Dennis, waterways dredging and shelving for <br /> historic documents. Mr. Hansen inquired about the applicant's available funding for the <br /> affordable housing project. The Chair stated that Board members could provide their comments <br /> at the next meeting since the CPC would not be voting until their following meeting. <br /> Design Review Committee-No meeting <br /> Plan Review-No meeting <br /> Environmental Oversight Committee-No meeting <br /> Greenway Project c& Quashnet Footbridge-Mr. Hansen met with Assistant <br /> Conservation Agent to discuss the project. There was discussion about an additional sidewalk <br /> that may remove the necessity for the bridge. The Chair and Mr. Hansen will discuss the matter <br /> further after this meeting and Mr. Hansen would follow up with Ms. Cadorat. <br /> Historic District Commission-No meeting <br /> Military Civilian Advisory Council-No update <br /> Stormwater Task Force-No update. Mr. Rowley had done some work previously which <br /> he would share with the DPW's consultant. <br /> UPDATES FROM TOWN PLANNER <br /> Discussion on amending standards for development in C-3 Districts and the <br /> requirements established in Section 174-31, special footnote 14, at a future Town Meeting- <br /> Mr. Lehrer provided an updated draft to Board members. The amendment regarding the <br /> naturally vegetated buffer would allow the Special Permit granting authority to accept a <br /> landscaping plan, as approved by the Design Review Committee, provided it was consistent with <br /> a native species list approved by the Cape Cod Commission. The amendment could encourage <br /> more attractive landscaping. The Chair stated that she was amenable provided it did not give <br /> relief to the percentage of undisturbed land. Mr. Lehrer confirmed that this proposal would not <br /> impact the undisturbed land percentage. <br /> Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program-Mr. Lehrer was anticipating 40 <br /> participants to attend the meeting next Friday, October 15, representing a variety of stakeholders. <br /> Following the workshop, Mashpee's consultant would develop a report and be eligible to apply <br /> for funds to assist with addressing action items generated during the workshop. The Chair <br /> inquired whether the Planning Board would be able to comment on the report and Mr. Lehrer <br /> confirmed that the intent of the workshop was to collect comment and generate action items from <br /> the participants. <br /> ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> Charles Rowley Comments-Mr. Rowley referenced new contractors working in <br /> Mashpee who were unclear regarding the necessary inspections and drafted a guideline regarding <br /> inspections. Mr. Rowley will forward the information and suggested that a written procedure for <br /> 5 <br />
