T
of Iffinglipee
C
P. O. BOX 1108
Pig E MASHPEE, MA 02649
PUNNING BOARD MINUTES : 4/24/35 P. 19
Mr. Marsters : I make a motion that we recommend to approve it .
Mr. Fudala : It sounds like that one can be used just like the last one .
You can call yourself a caretaker .
Mr . Narsters : Says mobile home as a construction office ,
Mr . Fudala : Well if you're building your own house you call yourself a . .
Mr. Jonas : No , this is a little different .
Mr . Marsters ; Tom's got a point though , Maybe you want to say mobile
home as a construction office in commercial or industrial areas .
Mr . Boyd : A lot of subdivisions use them too .
Fr. Fudala : The problem is in trying to define the caretaker and the guard .
Mr. Jonas : Actually I thought this one was just a construction trailer
on a site that is used for storage of tools and for an office but not,
for someone to be living in it . I 've never seen anyone living on the
site ,
Mr . Boyd : Around Boston they do all the time .
Mr. Jonas : But not on the Cape .
Mr . Harsters : it could happen when they need a guard at KEW
Pr , Dubin: The saving grace is it says may be occupied by resident guard
or caretaker. if the owner tried to get a special permit they would
have to have enough argument convincing them . I think resident guard-
or caretaker makes it clear that you're referring to a construction site .
Mr. Marsters : I think your salvation here Tom is that it requires a
special permit ,
Fr , Fudala : I 'm thinking legally if you 're wording isn't clear enough
it 'll be hard for the Board of Appeals to deny.
f,1-r . Dubin: I feel it 's clear enough . in 2 respects , 1) it says mobile
as construction office , 2 ) it talks about being occupied by resident
guard or caretaker, T think it clearly doesn't encompass an owner on
his own site ,
Mr. Mars tees : I agree .
