It does have the densest development other than Popponesset. <br /> Tom said the whole Waquoit Bay watershed is over loaded. <br /> Brad said the bottom line is to try to get community involvement, <br /> How do people feel about their~ neighborhood and what will they do <br /> o fix it. <br /> Tom said he held neighborhood meetings ( for the Local <br /> comprehensive plan process) and no one wanted to pay to take care <br /> of the nitrogen problem. <br /> Ma.shpee Neck area, residents are concerned about the problem but <br /> few are willing to pay $5 ,000 on a new septic system to fix it. <br /> Dennis asked if we could get a manufacturer to install a new <br /> septic system in a home, as a test system? <br /> Tom said that has been done with all the new technologies <br /> already. They are in the commercial market now. <br /> Tom said the Kul study found high numbers around the Ctuit Bay <br /> condos and suspected their septic system. If the Sewer <br /> Commission took over the Willowbend plant , we could tie in the <br /> condos . There was nothing the Board of Health could do about it <br /> because it was not a public health problem. <br /> WBNER put In experimental systems , as test systems. They were all <br /> put in on the Falmouth side of the Bay. <br /> Brad asked if he could get into any of the existing plants in <br /> town, to see them? <br /> The Commission decided they {would like to tour the high school <br /> plant .
