*DRAFT* BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES DECEMBER 16, 2019 6 Board of Selectmen Minutes December 16, 2019 APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS Public Hearin : 2020 Annual Alcoholic Beveraize.,and Entertainment License Renewals: (continued) In continuing discussions regarding compliance,the Board of Selectmen discussed the Innholder-- All Alcohol License held by the Popponesset Inn, 252 Shore Drive, Mashpee. The Board questioned the status of the license. Chris Card, President of New Seabury Resources Management indicated the establishment applied for a year round license, and would like the opportunity to maintain the facility as a year round facility. This year, major renovations are planned. After the Annual Boys & Girls Club Awesome Chili Challenge event scheduled to be held on January 25, 2020, the Popponesset Inn will close to begin a$40,000 construction improvement project. It was recommended the Board of Selectmen require licensed establishments maintain the standard of compliance. In 2020, all licenses shall be contingent upon the conformance of compliance with respect to.Sign Codes. A report would be presented to the Board of Selectmen prior to the renewal process next year to ensure the fulfillment of this obligation. Motion made by Selectman Sherman to close the Public Hearing. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
