*DRAFT I MAY 2020 TOWN MEETING WARRANT* Page 20 <br /> Article 25 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer frorn the FY 2021 Community Preservation <br /> Fund Estimated Revenues the sum of $40,000 to the Community Preservation Committee <br /> Administrative and Operating Expense Account,, pursuant to the provisions of' M.G.L., C. 44B, §5, <br /> including any necessary costs related thereto, as recommended by the Comm unity Preservation <br /> Committee or take any other action, relating thereto. <br /> Subm,itted by the Community Preservation Committee <br /> Explanation: To provide annual funding in FY 2021 for the administrative and operational costs <br /> of the Community Preservation C,ommlittee which includes project costs associated with and <br /> incidental to,the Community Preservation Committee. Under the CPA Act, up to 5%of the annual <br /> CPA funds may be,spent on the operation and administrative costs of the Community Preservation <br /> Committee. Funding supports legal and professional fees, technical reviews, appraisal costs, <br /> signage, annual Community Preservation Coalition dues, administrative wages, office supplies and <br /> similar costs associated with and incidental to the, development of a CPA project. <br /> The vote of the Community Preservation Committee was in support of this article. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends appr l of Article 25 by a vote of <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 25 by a vote of <br />
