i� <br /> 8 <br /> SECTION 13: ZONING AMENDMENTS I� <br /> 13.1 Any person desiring a zoning amendment. shall -propose it in writing <br /> to the Selectmen for insertion in the warrant of a town meeting, 1 <br /> regular or special . <br /> 1.3.2 If geographic change of a zoning boundary description be proposed, <br /> words of boundary description change for insertion in the warrant <br /> shall be accompanied by a brief written statement of the nature, <br /> extent and location in the town of the zoning map change proposed, <br /> together with three blackline prints of a diagram to scale showing . . <br /> the area to be changed, stating pertinent dimensions in feet. <br /> 13.3 On each zoning amendment proposal accepted by the Selectmen for <br /> insertion in a town meeting warrant, or on any such proposal inserted <br /> in a town meeting warrant by petition as provided by statute, the <br /> Planning Board shall hold a public hearing, of which notice shall be <br /> given by the Planning Board under the statutory zoning notice <br /> provisions . <br /> 13.4 The costs of publication and of mailing of notices of hearing and <br /> the costs of holding such zoning hearing and of making a public ffI <br /> record of the proceedings at such hearing, if such a record be made, I, <br /> .shall be paid by the Planning Board, but the Planning Board may determine <br /> whether..a fee to cover such costs shall be required of zoning amendment <br /> proponents : <br /> i <br /> } <br /> i <br /> f <br /> I <br /> J-32- COMMUNITY PLANNING SERVICES <br /> x <br />
