4) Lobby your friends and neighbors to make them aware that legislative actions
by the EPA and various State agencies require Towns to stop polluting our
environment. Lack of local movement in this direction will result in State
mandated "One solution fits all"being implemented.
5) Well intentioned concerns come up about pollution from items such as
phosphates, mercury, prescription drugs, oil, fertilizer, and other pollutants.
These are being addressed by prohibitions, reformulations, collections, and
public education. These challenges require modifying human behavior, many
voluntary organizations are looking for help to solve these pollution problems.
6) Lobby your conservationist friends to support clean waste water disposal in
areas set aside for conservation. Pathogen free clean waste water sprayed into
woodlands fertilizes all fauna and accelerates the decomposition of peat moss
by consuming Carbon when changing Nitrogen compounds into Nitrogen gas.
This natural process prevents the injection of water high in Nitrogen into our
watershed or drinking water aquifer. This is being done in the State of
Vermont now to prevent Nitrogen pollution in their streams and watersheds.
In addition areas like Florida and Arizona have for years been irrigating golf
courses and municipal areas with clean waste water.
