10 Board of Selectmen Minutes August 24, 2020 OLD BUSINESS Update Discussion and Possible Action Relative to COVID-19: (continued) With the use of COVID-19 Care Act funds (6) temporary custodians will be employed to conduct additional cleaning and disinfection. The job positions have been duly posted. The Town Clerk's Office is conducting early voting at the Mashpee Town Hall. Accessible barriers are in place to guide citizens safely to the poll areas with appropriate egress. There is a secure drop off slot to the right of the front door of Town Hall. All ballots will be collected daily and votes will be tallied accordingly. Citizens are urged to cast their votes at this election. Discussion and Possible Action on Draft#3 of the October 19, 2020 Town Meeting Warrant: The Board of Selectmen took action on Draft#3 of the October 19, 2020 Town Meeting Warrant. To conform to the posting requirements the warrant shall be executed by the Board of Selectmen at their meeting of Monday, September 14, 2020. Action was taken as follows; Article#1 To rescind loans authorized for capital projects that have been completed. Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to include and support Article 91 for placement on the October Town Meeting warrant. Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none Article#2 CPC -To appropriate the annual 10%reserves and budgeted appropriation for reserves. Motion made by Selectman Sherman to include and support Article#2 for placement on the October Town Meeting Warrant. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
