16 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 24, 2020 <br /> Discussion and Approval of Consent and Waiver of Right of First Refusal to Purchase 38 Timberlane Drive <br /> Mashpee, MA: <br /> The Board of Selectmen conducted review of the Consent and Waiver of right of First Refusal to purchase or <br /> obtain an eligible purchaser of 38 Timberlane Drive, Mashpee. The waiver consents to the sale of 38 Timberlane <br /> Drive from Olga Abramovic to Bridget McBride. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the Consent and Waiver of Right of First Refusal to <br /> purchase 38 Timberlane Drive, Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Finance Committee Report: At the last Finance Committee meeting action was taken on several of the warrant <br /> articles. The Finance Committee requested clarification on the petition articles sponsored by the Selectmen, and <br /> are expected to obtain input on several zoning articles, the watercraft ban and the Route 151 Corridor project. <br /> Assembly of Delegates: A new director has been hired for the County Dredge Program. Waterways Chair Ken <br /> Bates is apprised and would maintain communication to ensure Mashpee remains on the dredge list. <br /> The County Government is collectively working on the solid waste problem seeking regional solutions. <br /> Although incineration may not be permitted it may be a worthwhile solution. The wastewater initiative at JBCC <br /> continues to be an ongoing discussion. <br />
