Health Ag eat Glen I-larrLin,ti on.- <br /> mmmm <br /> (continued) <br /> Mr. Harrington outlined the proposed fee schedule per category as follows; <br /> Timeshares &Multi-Unit Commercial Properties 300 -proposed <br /> (Seamist, South.Cape Resort, Cape Holiday Estates&Mashpee Commons <br /> Single Family Home (rented as a whole rented unit) 100 <br /> Individual Room Rented per Bedroom 2 <br /> Single Family Horne w/Accessory Rental Units 100 for SFH, 0 per A U <br /> Manufactured Home (per trailer) 100 <br /> Any rental unit not covered above Fee set at discretion of BLS <br /> $300 cap peer prop rt -,proposed <br /> The�above referenced fee schedule is recommended as ,are annual fee to cower all-l units - $300. <br /> The single family home fee is th.esame rate used for hotels. <br /> Compliance in terms of health sanitary codes is the basis for the inspections as per the bylaw. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the categories and proposed fee schedule in terms of equity. <br /> With regards to timeshares and multi-unit commercial properties it was noted that Mash pee <br /> . p p p <br /> Commons rents 2 to 3 units on a short terra.basis. The majority of units are long term rental Units. <br /> Seamist, South.Cape Resort and Cape Holiday Estates have multiple rental units that are inspected <br /> twice per year. The units are essentially the same. As a result of the cookie-cutter layout,a <br /> i i <br /> minimum of three commercial units are typically inspected n the same manner as motels. A <br /> penalty of 300 per day is issued if a commercial rental property is not registered as a short terra. <br /> rental. *It was agreed the penalty clause should be listed in the Fee Category. <br /> It was recommended that all multi-unit rental properties should be inspected equally over the course <br /> of three years to ensure all units are in compliance to protect those who rent to ensure standard. <br /> measures.
