Collins <br /> Reference: Natural Resource Director <br /> � <br /> Date: May 14, 2 020 <br /> The Director of Natural Resources, Richard York, announced his pending retirement earlier this year and <br /> it is effective on Friday, May 29, 2020. <br /> The Human Resource Department posted the position "in-house"on April 9, 2020. <br /> After an "in-house" review process ,and oral board examination, Shellfish Constable Ashley Fisher was <br /> recommended for the position of Director. <br /> I am confident as the Appointing Authority that Ms. Fisher possesses the necessary knowledge, skills and <br /> abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position, consistent with the job description <br /> of the said position. <br /> Due to her existing employment,the Town does not have to proceed► ith the requirements of an outside <br /> entry-level employee, such as a background investigation. <br /> I hereby attest the all other policies and procedures of the Town have been complied with.Since this is a <br /> department head position,this appointment must be confirmed by the .Board of Selectmen. <br /> I respectfully request that the Board of Selectmen certify the selection process and confirm the <br /> appointment of Ashley Fisher as Director of Natural Resources, effective May 30, 2020. <br />
