This article only clarifies that medium and large-scale systems are only allowed in the Industrial Districts and not allowed in the commercial or residential districts.'This amendment is necessary for consistency with another submitted zoning article proposing small-scale solar energy systems allowed by-right in all zoning districts. Submitted by the Planning Board Explanation:This article will add definitions recommended by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to the Zoning Bylaw for the regulation of solar energy systems as currently regulated in the zoning bylaw and as proposed in related warrant articles.
